GTi Waxing Award The GTi Waxing Award is accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body. The course covers the consultation, contra-indications, technique and aftercare needed to perform a waxing treatment and is written following the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for beauty, nails and holistic therapy treatments. The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images, video and a voice- over. Upon completion of the online theory modules, students will receive a manual which they can use to refer back to. Twelve of the modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available. The remaining module consists of a practical module and examination which is to be completed at a GTi Training Centre. On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi certificate in Waxing. How soon after enrolling can I start the course? Once you have enrolled on the course and paid the course fee, you will have immediate access to the online course modules which means you can start learning straight away. Practical training will be provided within three weeks of completion of the theory aspect of the course. How long will it take me to complete the course? The time it takes to complete the course will depend on how quickly you learn as an individual, and also on the number of hours per day you spend on it. Most students are able to complete the course within approximately 12 hours of study. The practical element of the course will take a minimum of 6 hours depending upon the number of students. Is there a time limit for completing the course? No. Is the course accredited? Yes, The course is fully accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists for membership and insurance and follows the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for beauty, nails and holistic. Is the course accredited for Continuing Professional Development - CPD? Yes. The course is accredited by the Guild and is worth 30 CPD points. What content is covered in the course?
